We built Mypetly to help you care for your pets. We only collect the data needed to provide our services, we never sell your personal information, and you can request deletion of your account and data at any time.

📋 Information We Collect

When you use Mypetly, we collect:

Account data — your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash).
Pet data — pet name, species, breed, date of birth, and health notes you add.
Booking & order data — appointment records, shop orders, and hotel bookings you make through the app.
Usage data — app interaction logs to help us improve performance and fix bugs.
Device data — device type, OS version, and app version for technical support purposes.

🎯 How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your Mypetly account.
To connect you with clinics, pet shops, hotels, and other service providers.
To process your orders and bookings.
To send appointment reminders and order updates.
To improve app features, fix bugs, and ensure security.
To respond to your support requests.

🤝 Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only in the following cases:

Service providers — clinics, pet hotels, and shops you book or order from receive the information needed to fulfill your request (e.g., your name, pet details, and appointment time).
Infrastructure providers — we use secure cloud hosting to store and process data.
Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect the safety of users.

🔒 Data Security

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. We regularly review our security practices to keep your information safe.

📅 Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

⚖️ Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction — update or correct inaccurate information.
Deletion — delete your account and all associated data. You can do this directly in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or by visiting our account deletion page.
Portability — request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.

👶 Children's Privacy

Mypetly is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy. For significant changes, we will notify you in the app.
